Roman blinds are made of fabric and are therefore not suitable for bathrooms or showers.

Our roman blinds are a practical, soft, window furnishing made from premium grade fabrics with a polycotton lining as standard. Featuring a slim profile aluminium headrail, with low profile mounting brackets. They are elegant, modern and sophisticated, providing you with a classic look that will last a lifetime.

A modern chain drive provides effortless and smooth lift without long lengths of cord and tie-off cleats.

The fabric range is extensive with something for every interior application. These fabrics are easy to clean and only require a light dust with a vacuum brush or wipe with a damp cloth, which makes them a pleasure to live with.

Child safety

The importance of safety

Chains and cords from curtains or blinds have been identified as a potential risk to small children.

Having a safety device is now a legal requirement even in homes without children.

What does that mean?

We are committed to adhering to the European 13120 standard, or the UK equivalent, as a minimum safety requirement. This means any blind you purchase through our website will be supplied with a child safety device, unless the blind has been manufacured inherently safe.

Installation service

If you use our installation service our fitters will ensure all child safety devices are installed correctly.

Fabric width

You can give this size if you want the fabric of the blind to cover the window opening. We suggest you add 10cm at the top and at least 5cm either side to ensure adequate coverage.

If measuring an existing blind, measure across the width of the fabric only and ignore any brackets.

Recess size

Take the measurement inside the recess. Do not deduct anything from this size, we will do that to make sure your blind fits perfectly.

We suggest you take 3 measurements and use the smallest one. This will allow for any unevenness and ensure your blind fits.

Exact width

Do not use this if your blind is inside a recess. You can give this size if you want the fabric of the blind to cover the window opening (Outside the recess). We suggest you add 10cm at the top and at least 5cm either side to ensure adequate coverage.

The size of the finished blind will be around 35mm (3.5cm) wider than the width of the fabric.

Fixing Height

Measure the distance from the floor to the height at which the product will be installed.

In order to comply with the British safety standard EN13120, or UK equivilant, child safety devices must be installed alongside your product.

In addition the control must be a certain height from the floor. This measurement is required in order to calculate the control length for the product.

Standard Roll

The fabric comes of the back of the blind, close to the glass. This is the best way to maximise insulation and light control.

It is considered the standard option in the industry.

Reverse Roll

The fabric comes forward off the blind, away from the glass. Ideal for clearing obstructions such as handles or winders. It also hides the roller itself and creats a valnce effect. Not recomended for outside recess fitting as there is an increased gap down the sides.
